Mongstad Group is an owner of key infrastructure and a landlord to high activity oil and gas supply bases at the strategically located ports of Mongstad and Dusavik, supporting more than 25 producing platforms in the Norwegian North Sea. Mongstad Group is owned by EQT Infrastructure II since 2015.

Our Locations

The Mongstad Base

Mongstad Group is the main landlord to the leading supply base in the Northern North Sea area, which was established in 1984. Mongstad Supply Base serves around 20 producing platforms, including the Troll and Oseberg fields.

With more than 1,000,000 m2 of land, 60,000 m2 of buildings and 800 meters of quay, the supply base handles approximately 3,000 ship arrivals per year and more than 1,000,000 tons over quay, making it one of the most active supply bases in Norway.

Mongstad Group also owns significant undeveloped zoned land at Mongstad that provides expansion opportunities for existing as well as new customers. The supply base is located adjacent to Statoil’s refinery at Mongstad.

Dusavik Base

The Dusavik Base

Mongstad Group is the owner of close to 100,000 m2 land and more than 20,000 m2 of buildings at Dusavik Supply Base, which was established in 1965. Dusavik is a key supply base with more than 60 international operators and service companies present, serving producing fields in the Central North Sea with estimated lifetime beyond 2050.

Dusavik has been selected by Statoil to service the Johan Sverdrup development, the largest oil field development on the Norwegian Continental Shelf (NCS), with expected production start in 2019.
